From September 7th to September 9th, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism cooperated with other resorts of Ho Tram Region to cooperate an exploration crew (Farmtrip) including the representatives of 20 international travel businesses of Thailand, China and UAE. They carried out the Five-star Resort Complex including The Grand Ho Tram Strip, Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort, and Hamptons Plaza Ho Tram. In this chance the overseas enterprises had the chance to seriously investigate service quality, service attitude of the staffs and the value that can be brought by these resorts.
Mr. Nattapach Utenpitak, the CEO of Planet Blue in Thailand, remarks that Thai people are really into traveling to Vietnam. However, most of them are only familiar with destinations such as Hanoi, Ha Long, Sa Pa, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City. He expresses his impression of the natural beauty of Ho Tram beach, the coastal forest, and the luxurious resort system. He plans to develop travel tours to Ho Tram for Thai tourists after this survey trip.

Developmental Potentials
Ba Ria- Vung Tau has been focusing the investment on key transportations projects such as Bien Hoa- Vung Tau expressway and the expansion of the coastal road (Provincial Road 994). These projects are expected to be completed by 2025, together with the operation of Long Thanh Airport. This promises to create favorable conditions for Ho Tram to become a leading tourism destination, attracting international visitors to Ba Ria- Vung Tau.
